Rosie Schulenberg, 81, Independence, Missouri, passed away September 7, 2016. Visitation 11a.m.-12 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 12 p.m. Monday, September 12, Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd., Kansas City, MO.. Burial in Mt. Moriah cemetery.
Rosie loved to read, travel with her daughters, spend time with family and was an excellent cook. She is preceded in death by her husband Forrest Schulenberg, sisters; Reba James, Barbara Clark, Virginia Hampton, brothers; George and Donald Garrett.
Survivors include; daughters; Beverly Schafer, Jeanne Schulenberg, Debbie Wilson, Susie (Elmer) Sprague; a son, Jerry (Shelley) Schulenberg; grandchildren; Tim Wilson, Marc Schulenberg, Julie Schafer, Brian Wilson, Nick Sprague, Sam Schulenberg, Zach Schulenberg, Lindsey Sprague, great-grandchildren; Brittany Schulenberg, David Schulenberg, Austin Wilson, Keaton Wilson, Will Schulenberg, Olivia Wilson, Ava Schulenberg, Xayden Sprague, and 2 great-great-granddaughters; brother Dean Garrett and sisters Maureen Grossman and Margie Green.
