Rose Marie Miller

Rose Marie Miller, 81 of Independence, MO passed away Thursday, October 27, 2016 in Independence, MO. Mass of Christian burial will be 12pm Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016 at Nativity of Mary Catholic Church, 10010 E. 40 Highway, Indep., MO with burial to follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 10am to 12pm Tuesday.

Rose was born June 8, 1935 in Kansas City, MO to Salvatore and Angelina (Sparcina) Losapio. She was a beautiful woman and a faithful catholic who brightened the room with her smile. Rose loved her children, grandchildren, family, extended family and friends. She loved spending time with them and shopping whenever she could.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Salvatore and Angelina Losapio and infant son. Survivors include her children, Pamela (Bobby) Nichols, JoMarie Miller, Stephen (Emily) Miller; her grandchildren, Dylan, Austin and Isabella Miller; her sisters, Marie Losapio, Teresa (Tom) Waddell, Josephine (Ross) Passantino; her brothers, Natale (Marianne) Losapio and Sam (Mary) Losapio as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Her special friend, George White, who she loved dearly. Special thanks to extended family Don and Bernie Schulte, caregiver Pearl Jones and always grateful to Stephen’s “Big Brother” Rex Cantlin and “Little Brother” Shane Latimer.
