Rosalind Josephine Boehnlein, 87, Kansas City North, passed away May 22, 2011 at North Kansas City Hospital. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Thursday, May 26th at St. Gabriel Catholic Church where friends may call from 9-10 AM. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery North. Rosalind was born March 28, 1924 in Cleveland, OH and had lived in Kansas City since 1959. She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church and former St. Raphael Catholic Church. Rosalind was active in The Optimist Club and the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Boehnlein, in 1985 and a son-in-law, Steve Altherr in 2009.
Survivors include 3 daughters Bernadette Brenner (Francis), Independence, MO, Rita Jo Altherr, Kansas City, and Karen Myers (Ken), Kansas City; 5 grandchildren and the “light of her life”, great grandson, Conley.
