Rhonda Johnson

Rhonda Johnson, 55, Kansas City, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 15, 2017 at her home. A memorial visitation is from 9-11 AM Saturday, Oct 21st, with a memorial service at 11 AM, at the McGilley Antioch Chapel. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to Sheffield Place (www.sheffieldplace.org) or Vicki Welsh Fund (vickiwelshfund.org) for ovarian cancer awareness.

Rhonda was born February 4, 1962 in Independence, MO. She graduated from Ft. Osage High School. Rhonda was a volunteer and worked at Sheffield Place serving single mothers. She enjoyed traveling and making memories with her husband, children and grandchildren. Rhonda was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Taylor Marie; brother, Roger Brown; and father, R.A. Brown.

Survivors include her husband, Dennis; children, Daniel Clark, Jasmine (David) Jameson, and Brittany Byrd; step-children, Jenifer Johnson (Jason Shuker), Christy (Scott) Corn, Zachary Johnson, Kathryn (Samuel) Scholdberg, Julie (Barry) Smith, Alyssa (Jason) Johnson-Brester, and Lauren (Salvatore) Licata; grandchildren, Arika, Brayden, Micah, Ashton, Avaryana, Peyton, Oliver, Benjamin, Quinton, Ella, Simon, Everett, Emma, Elliot, Frankie, Aiden, and Zeke; mother, Francine Benoit; siblings, Ronnie Brown, Randy (Julie) Brown, and Renee (Jerry) Haas; and an awesome extended family.
