Phyllis C. Randle

Phyllis was born to George and Maberyl Guy on August 4, 1944 in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from Central High School and then began a career at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, where she stayed for 12 years. Phyllis then moved to Unity School of Christianity where she remained for 13 years. In 1992 she moved to the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation where she stayed for 10 years. Finally, she worked for the Andrews McMeel Universal before retiring in 2016.

She was often known by "Sunshine" for the warmth, humor, and care that she brought to her family and friends.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her father George Guy and mother Maberyl Guy, brother Ronald Guy, husband of 50 years Willie C. Randle, and her two sons Marc and Glenn Randle. She is survived by her brother Gregory J. Guy and wife Linda, her sister Vickie Dixon and husband Dean, nieces Tamarah Dixon and Tiphani Dixon, nephew Tyler Dixon, and many other cousins and friends.

A viewing for Phyllis will be held Saturday, January 28, 2023 beginning at 1:45 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home (7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133). The funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM. Following the service there will be a graveside service at Floral Hills Cemetery (Same Address).
