Michele loved animals including her pet dogs, cats, sugar gliders, fish, ferrets and birds. She loved helping people... she would drop whatever she was doing to help anyone. Michele had just reached her one year of sobriety after strongly fighting and defeating alcoholism.
Michele worked at one time for Diagnostic Imaging. She redirected her attention to her family and raising her two sons. At the age of 39, she received her life surprise with the birth of her daughter.
She is survived by her parents, Raymond and Shirley Voorhees of Overland Park, Kansas; husband Michael Brennon Eddy, Sr., sons Michael Brennon Eddy, Jr. and Andrew Allen Eddy, and daughter, Ashley Faith Eddy, all of Belton, Missouri. She is also survived by four siblings: brothers Matthew Voorhees and Joshua Voorhees of Belton, Missouri; and sisters Stephanie Brewer of Gardner, Kansas, and Rebecca Woods of Overland Park, Kansas.
A Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am followed by an 11:00am Memorial Service on Monday, January 28th at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri.
