Michael "Mike" A. Carriker, age 73, peacefully passed away at Northcare Hospice House, on January 13th. He was born June 10, 1946 to Billie Dean and Mary Katherine (Cadell) Carriker in Chillicothe, Missouri.
Mike was blessed to meet and marry the love of his life, Sharon Kay Hutton. They were married 44 years.
Mike was a family man. A loving husband and a fun loving, supportive uncle. He worked for one company 45 yrs., retiring from Burd and Fletcher. At one point in life he loved to read, enjoyed hunting and fishing. In his later years you could find him comfortable in front of the television, cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, as he was a sports fan and loved watching sports as well as investigative crime shows. Mike was forever a lover of dogs and bird watching.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Bill M. Carriker.
Left to cherish Mike's memory is his wife, Sharon K. Carriker of the home; his sister-in-law Patricia Brennan of Kansas City, MO; cherished nieces & nephews, great nieces & great nephews, great-great nieces & great-great nephews and other loving family and friends.
