Mary Ann Rogers, 79, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 6, at Mount Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri, followed by the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Interment in Mt. Moriah Cemetery South. Mary Ann was born October 28, 1931 in Decatur, Illinois and was the daughter of William Fenton and Ruth Elizabeth Jones. She graduated from Normal Community High School in Normal, Illinois. She was married to Jewell E. Rogers and lived in Kansas City, Missouri. She is survived by her six sons and two daughters and their spouses, Jeff & Jennifer, Steve & Linda, Kevin & Susan, Doug & Kathy, Dave & Beth, Julie & Rodger Simmons, Jill Rogers and Ted & Denise, twenty-seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and her sister Dorothy Rainey.
