Mary Jane Neill

The Mass of Christian Burial is 11:00 AM Monday, November 21st, with Rosary and Visitation beginning at 10:00 AM, at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Burial will follow services in White Chapel Cemetery.

Mary was born December 21, 1933 to Charles G. and Rose (Wichman) Hasenkamp in Seneca, KS. Mary grew up in Seneca and moved to Topeka, KS where she met her husband, Galen John Neill. Before his passing in 2021, they were married 65 years. Subsequently, they moved to Kansas City and started “Mary Jane’s Beauty Salon” in Gladstone, MO which they continued for 30 years. For those 30 years Mary Jane and Galen operated 5 different beauty salons in the Gladstone area.

Survivors include her two sons, Galen (Kim) Neill of The Woodlands, TX, and Cliff (Nancy) Neill of San Juan Capistrano, CA; and grandsons, Austin Neill, Jonathan (Courtney) Neill, Sheldon (Nicole) Neill; granddaughters, Katie (Taylor) Hurst, Emily Neill, Mackenzi Neill, and Molly Neill; 5 great grandchildren; and siblings, Don Hasenkamp and Fr. Robert Hasenkamp.
