She was born to Dr. Leonard and Ruth Sanford on March 7, 1922. Mary Anne met the love of her life in high school, and married Lt. Robert Dale Morris on June 5, 1943 in Riverside, California.
She is survived by her four children; Robert Morris and his wife Carolyn, James Morris and his wife Bonnie, her daughter Nancy Morris Briley, and William Morris and his wife Deborah. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren, of whom she was extremely proud.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Dr. Richard L. Sanford, her sister Kathryn Sanford Kerst, and her beloved husband.
Mary Anne was a true matriarch in every sense of the word. She was very active in the lives of her family and friends, and took joy in planning annual Thanksgiving family reunions, which spanned 30 plus years. She loved writing poetry, cross-stitching, travel, and creating precious memories with those she loved. Most of all, she loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and has entered into everlasting life with Him.
