Mary Mackin, 76, of Kansas City, MO died Saturday June 11, 2011 following a long illness. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM Tuesday June 14, 2011 at St Therese Catholic Church with a visitation from 9:30 to 11 AM and a rosary prayed just prior to the Mass. Burial will be in Resurrection North Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society or St. Therese Catholic Church.
Mary was born April 23, 1935 in Kansas City, MO to Stanley and Laurena Cronin and was preceded in death by brothers, John and James and sister Catherine. Mary was a graduate of St Mary College in Leavenworth, KS and a Member of St. Therese Parish in Parkville. She is survived by her husband, James; stepchildren, Christine (Doug) Earnhart, Cynthia (Fred) Heil and Thomas (Colleen) Mackin; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
