Marsha was born on February 9, 1939. She was one of three children, born to Howard and Treesa Smith, 2 daughters and 1 son.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Judith Lyman. Marsha graduated from Center High School in 1957 where she was also Homecoming Queen and Valedictorian of her class. She met and married Ted McAnally in 1971 and shared 31 years of marriage together until his passing in 2002.
She spent the majority of her life in Kansas City and worked at Zeko Graphics as an office manager and bookkeeper retiring in 1997. Later in her life she moved to Lake of the Ozarks to be closer to her daughter and two granddaughters. She was a member of Lake Presbyterian Church. Marsha had a passion for shopping and enjoyed giving to others. She also enjoyed knitting, canasta and Bible study. She could make a mean batch of spaghetti and meatballs and was known for her famous salsa that she made every fall.
Marsha is survived by her daughters, Renee Riedel and husband Ron of Tebbetts, MO, Traci Millea and Scott Maddux of Owasso OK, and sons Brian McAnally and wife Lisa of Chicago IL, Snapper McAnally of Tucson, AZ. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren: Seann, Darren, Meghan, Shannon, Alexandra, Tess, Zachary, Rachel, Melissa and Meghan; and 2 great-grandchildren Ava and Vincent. Marsha will be greatly missed by her family.
A visitation will be held at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, November 19, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City MO at 2:00 pm followed by a funeral service at 3:00 pm.
