Marie Frances Donnici

Marie grew up in a beautiful Victorian home with all her Italian relatives. Following high school graduation, she married Gary Donnici and they were happily married for 43 years until his death. She loved going to garage sales to find unique items, traveling with her grandkids, and entertaining people at her home. She was a great Italian cook and made the best pasta. Marie was the Matriarch of her family and took that roll very seriously. She was a lot of peoples’ mom and grandma, even if they were not biologically related. She had that motherly instinct about her that drew people close and they knew they were loved.

Marie is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Magdelena; and her husband, Gary Donnici.

She is survived by her two sons, Ric Donnici (Jill) and Chuck Donnici; two grandchildren, Lisa Hessel (Jon) and Josh Donnici; and three great-grandchildren, Kaden, Max, and Ivy.

A visitation will be held from 9-11 AM, followed by a graveside service, on Saturday, February 19, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133.
