Margaret Stewart was born October 3rd, 1922 in Cardin, OK and passed away February 22nd, 2017. Margaret’s mother Esther Jones and Margaret’s three siblings Oliver and Jim Jones, and Virginia Malotte have preceded her in death. Margaret’s husband of 60 years, Roy, passed away in January 2009.
Margaret and Roy took great pride in their three children, Richard of St. Louis, MO, Robert and his wife Gayle of Austin, TX, and Karen and her husband Tim McCarthy of Overland Park, KS. They took great enjoyment in their three grandchildren Wyatt, Dawn and Heather and her husband Brian, and most recently her two great-granddaughters Lilian and Genevieve.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 28th, at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd., Kansas City, MO 64131. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests any contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
