Lisa Concepción Rosa, 41, of Kansas City, MO passed away Sunday, August 23, 2015. Visitations will take place on Friday, August 28th from 6-8 pm and also on Saturday, August 29th from 1-2 pm at Newcomer’s Floral Hills Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm with Rev. Luis Fonseca who pastors at La Iglesia de Dios, Inc. Graveside services will follow at the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Lisa was born on May 22, 1974 in Cleveland, Ohio. Lisa was beyond an amazing mother whom loved both her son and daughter more than anything and who dedicated her whole entire life to her kids until the very end of her time. She was also a loving daughter to her mother and father and a loving sister to her little brother. Lisa was always willing to drop everything just to give her family everything they needed and so much more. Not only was she an amazing mother, daughter and sister she was always a hardworking, dedicated woman that worked at Hickman Mills for 16 years as an administrative assistant and also worked with administration at Children’s Mercy Hospital. As busy as Lisa may have sounded, she always made it a point to go to church and praise our Almighty Lord and Savior and she always enjoyed herself doing so. Even when she wasn’t at church she would spend time sporadically praying, singing hymns, reading the Bible, and talking to people about God and always searched for more lessons about the Lord. No words can ever describe Lisa’s personality. Lisa was always laughing, smiling and telling jokes that will make you laugh so hard you cried. She was a very vibrant woman whom always looked at the brighter things in life no matter the situation. Not only was she a vibrant, happy person, she was a down-to-earth person that found joy in spending time at home watching movies and T.V. with her family. No matter where she went Lisa always made new friends, was always able to put a smile on anyone’s face, and always knew someone everywhere she went. Lisa was a beyond beautiful angel walking this Earth. Now she is an immaculately beautiful angel in heaven walking the streets of gold that she famously spoke and dreamt about. Lisa is survived by her son, Immanuel M. Rosa; daughter, Aixa M. Rosa; father, Espire Concepción; mother, Nelly Concepción; brother, Daniel Concepción; and nephew James Daniel.
