Linda Gandara, 65, died unexpectedly on February 12, 2024. Linda was born on January 12, 1959 in Kansas City Missouri to Alice Gandara Martinez and Frank Gandara.
Linda graduated from Westport High School. She loved and enjoyed painting, drawing and crafts in her spare time. She was a Kansas City resident for most of her life, enjoying walks and chatting with people on the metro. Linda welcomed a son into the world in May of 1978. Her son remembers her as a driven mother who encouraged him to pursue his goals. Linda also loved going to the clubhouse to visit with her friends.
Linda is survived by her son, Johnathon Gandara (Christina Gandara); and her siblings Gloria O’Leary (Michael O’Leary), Alice Muzquiz, and Michael Gandara (Rachael Gandara); five granddaughters, and three great grandchildren.
Services for Linda are scheduled at 5:30 PM on Thursday, Feb 22, 2024 at Eagle Heights Baptist Church, 5600 N Brighton Ave, Kansas City, MO 64119. Flowers may be sent to the Eagle Heights Baptist Church for her services.
