It is with heavy hearts, that we announce the passing of Judy Frances Collier, of Kansas City, Missouri. A loving mother, a remarkable woman, and a dedicated friend to many. Judys courageous health battles came to an end on January 12, 2024. She was 78 years of age.
Judy's nurturing spirit, unwavering support for others, and boundless love will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Judy’s work life was mostly in the medical field. In any position she held, she showed a desire for excellence, loyalty to her employer and had a strong work ethic. Judy’s colleagues and friends remember her as always able to help in times of need and always available for phone chats and reasons for celebrations. She was known for her warm and caring personality, she got along with everyone she met and never complained about any hardships in life. Her kindness and passion will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Judy will also be remembered as the biggest Kansas City Chiefs fan.
Judy is preceded in death by, Raymond & Juanita Wright (parents), Ronald Wright (brother) and Virginia Phillips (sister).
Survivors include Mike & Ann Collier (son) of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; Jim & Tracy Lentz (daughter), Clarkston, Michigan; Michael & Brianna Collier (grandson), Peculiar, Missouri; Matthew & Amanda Collier (grandson), Kansas City, Missouri, and Lauren Logan, (granddaughter) Lee’s Summit, Missouri. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
A memorial service to celebrate Judy's life will be held on January 27, 2024, 10:30am at Floral Hill Funeral Home, Kansas City, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Ascend Hospice.
