Jerimiah was born to Heather Mathews on November 8, 1980 in Clinton, Missouri. A loving father, a musician, a tenacious leader, Jerimiah had an attention to detail that allowed whichever task he undertook to be accomplished with exemplary integrity and success. Jerimiah owned and operated a successful vegan restaurant in Kansas City for ten years. His commitment to providing organic, ethical food options left an indelible mark on the Kansas City food scene. When that chapter in his life closed, he continued to find ways to serve others and provide for his family. He found an indispensable niche in the community by using his talent in meticulous craftsmanship to restore and maintain old homes throughout the Kansas City area.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Claude Mathews Jr.
He leaves behind a loving mother, Heather Mathews, a devoted partner Zoe Marinovich, brother Nicholas Rozzo, grandmother Hope Mathews, and two beloved children, Vox Belle and Beatrix Rozzo.
A memorial gathering will be held in the early evening of Saturday, July 10 at The Garden at 17th and Summit in the Westside neighborhood of Kansas City, Missouri. A go fund me has been set up for the family who he financially supported.
