Doris Jean “Jeanne” Pinkard, 84, Overland Park, KS, passed away February 25, 2015. A private memorial service will be held at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd. with burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 1100 Pennsylvania Ave., Kansas City, MO 64105.
Jeanne was born September 12, 1930 in St. Joseph, MO, daughter of Joseph B. and Thelma (Mayse) Proctor. She graduated from Paseo High School in 1948.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Joseph Proctor, Jr. Jeanne is survived by her daughter Jan and husband Wayne Grimes; son Kent Pinkard; grandchildren Angela and Adam DiGiovanni, Daniel, Kevin and Lauren Pinkard; and great-grandchild Avery Pinkard.
