Janet G. Moore

Janet G. Moore, 70, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on June 14, 2022. Visitation will be 10:30-11:30 a.m., followed by funeral services at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, June 25, 2022 at McGilley Antioch Chapel. Burial to follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Kansas City, Kansas.

Janet is survived by her husband of 52 years, Mike Moore; her daughter Kristi Marshall and husband, Mike; her sons, Michael Moore and John David Moore; 5 grandsons whom she adored: Austyn Moore, Jesse Moore, Dustin Marshall, Cody Marshall, great-grandson Beau Moore-Whitlock; and her precious cocker spaniel, Maggie. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, David and Estelle Richardson.

Janet was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, friend. She was involved in her children's and grandchildren’s lives, supporting them in their activities and all aspects of their lives. Janet enjoyed cooking for family and friends and country music. Over the years, Janet worked at Kmart, The Jones Store, and Citibank. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, and a compassionate devoted member of The Daughters of the King- Emmanual Chapter.

Janet will be dearly missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
