Isabel Alvarado, 91, of Kansas City, MO died Thursday, July 29, 2021. There will be a rosary and prayer service at McGilley Midtown Chapel Tuesday, August 3 at 11:00 am followed by burial in Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday at the chapel from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
Isabel was born February 27, 1930 in Kansas City, MO to Jose Maria and Francisca (Cortez) Alvarado. He graduated from Manuel High School. He married the former Natividad Medina in 1955 and had 66 years together. Isabel worked for Armco Steel until his retirement in 1982. He later worked for Chicago Title Company.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters. Isabel is survived by his wife of 66 years, Natividad of the home; his daughter, Joanne Oyler; two sons, Refugio Gasca (Jean) and John Gasca (Patricia); eight grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
