Ida Carol Williams, 74, passed away 10/16/2017. Visitation will be at Floral Hills funeral home on Saturday, October 21 at 1:00 followed by funeral services at 2:00. Burial will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Ida Carol Williams was born May 12, 1943 to the union of Elbert Virgil Nash and Elizabeth Florence Nash. She attended Jefferson City High School and studied Psychology at Lincoln University of Missouri. After working at Tnemec Paint Company for over 30 years, she retired and spent her time quilting, gardening, spending time with family, taking pictures, socializing, and watching veterinarian shows. Lyle and Carol were joined in marriage on June 4, 1988 and enjoyed 29 years of love and devotion. Lyle was Carol’s spouse, friend and caregiver during the early part of her illness. Carol’s lung cancer returned aggressively in February 2017. After a hard-fought battle, she departed from this life October 16, 2017 while lovingly being cared for by her son, Andre’, daughter-in-law, Heather, and granddaughter, Gabrielle. Carol is survived by her loving husband Lyle, brother – Jim Nash, sister – Jane McNett and brother-in-law Don, son-Craig Leon Murphy, daughter- Elizabeth Loretta Rollie and son-in-law Anthony, son - Andre’ Leon Murphy and daughter-in-law Heather. She leaves behind 10 grandchildren- Max, Amie, Mariah, Gabrielle, Drew, Micah, Raven, Anthony, Sonni, Troy, and one great grandson, Ace. Carol also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is “MOM” to many and will be deeply missed by all.
