Frank was born in Kansas City, Missouri, on July 6, 1944, to Franklin Everett and Elizabeth Woodbury Reaves. He proudly attended Westminster College in Fulton Missouri where he gained lifelong friends. He loved to spend summers at the Lake of the Ozarks with his family. He enjoyed water skiing, even as late as his 50th birthday.
He was active in the leadership of Boy Scout Troop 46. As a child, Frank earned his Eagle Scout with Troop 61. He was a Hardway Warrior in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say and proud of his Tribal name “Warrior Littlest True Heart," following in the footsteps of his grandfather "Chieftain True Heart."
Frank loved the Family Room Dance Parties and Surf Rock Music. He also loved celebrating all holidays with his family, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law Cary Williams. He is survived by his wife, Ann Townley Reaves; children, Tod (Kasey) Reaves, Melissa Reaves, Kristen (Andrew) Vleisides, Scott Reaves, and Brent (Tiffany) Reaves; nine grandchildren, Danny Reaves, Tanner Reaves, Alyssa Reaves, Isaac Reaves, Avery Reaves, Emma Reaves, Carter Vleisides, Drew Vleisides, and Alex Vleisides; a sister Betsy Reaves Hartzell; many cousins, one niece, three nephews, and a sister-in-law Gail Williams. Frank is also survived by his favorite dog, Jenny, and his cat, Charlie.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made in Frank's name to: Boy Scout Troop 46, c/o St. Peter & All Saints Episcopal Church, 100 East Red Bridge Road, Kansas City, MO 64114 and or to St. Peter & All Saints Episcopal Church.
Visitation will be held from 1:00pm to 2:00pm followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00pm, on Friday, July 26 at St. Peter & All Saints Episcopal Church located at 100 East Red Bridge Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Burial will follow in Mount Moriah Cemetery at 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri.
