Evelyn Maxine Campbell, 92, of Independence, Missouri, passed away on March 29, 2019. Evelyn was born in Russellville, Missouri. She was married to Emerson Campbell for 52 years until his death, and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She worked at JC Penney over 20 years and was a member of Blue River Church of Christ. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her friends. She was known for her kind spirit and amazing fried chicken. Evelyn was preceded in death by Elmer Emerson Campbell and all of her siblings. She will be fondly remembered by her children Gary Campbell and wife Beverly, Jana Schmitt and husband Bob, and Randy Campbell; granddaughter Janessa Carroll and husband Ken; and great granddaughters Laney and Piper Carroll.
