Elizabeth Lorraine Serrioz, 79, Kansas City, MO passed away May 10, 2017 at St. Joseph Hospital. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 a.m. followed by funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 20, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 2 E. 75th St., Kansas City, MO. Elizabeth was born November 15, 1937 and raised in Sioux Falls, SD. She married Martin Serrioz in 1958. They lived in Kansas City where they raised their four children. Beth spent her last ten years doing what she loved, volunteering at St. Joseph Hospital. She loved nature and taking long walks every day. Beth loved to share her recipes and she was the best cook. She always gave and was a selfless person expecting nothing in return. She had a deep connection with the Lord. Her favorite saying was, “Let go and Let God.”
She was preceded in death by her father Lawrence White, mother Lucille (Gregory) White and sister Connie White. Beth is survived by her husband Martin Serrioz, children Jeanne Roberts, Pamela Carson, Pete Serrioz and Laurie Ramirez, seven grandchildren Jamie and Matt Wilson, Pete Serrioz, Noah Stockdall, Myles Carson, Valencia Ramirez and great-grandchild Alex Wilson. She is also survived by her sisters Patricia Schmida, Donna Jean Hellrud, Mary Poppenga, Susan Campbell, Kathleen Asai and brothers Michael and Tony White.
