Dorothy N. Blythe, 88, of Kansas City North, passed away June 6, 2015 at Pleasant Valley Manor. Services will be Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 11:00 AM at McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion Road, Kansas City. A visitation will precede the service, beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial to follow at East Slope Cemetery.
Dorothy was born Dec. 22, 1926 to Samuel and Thelma Phipps in Hodge, MO. She was married to William Blythe for 60-plus years until he passed away in 2008.
Dorothy was a resident of Our Lady of Mercy County Home for three years. She loved everyone there and they were so good to her.
Survivors include a brother, Herbert Phipps of Sun City, CA and a sister, Helen Williams of Pleasant Valley; many nieces and great-nieces, and one nephew.
