Doris was born on January 26, 1936 in Dayton, Ohio to Norma Clark and later adopted by Edward Wells. She graduated from Butler High School in Vandalia, Ohio in 1954. She married John Dutcher in 1968 and later divorced in 1981. In 1982 she married Robert Dutcher. After moving to Melbourne, Florida, she began working for Barnes & Company as an accountant.
She loved collecting teacups and clowns, enjoyed traveling and was an avid Ohio State fan. Her family would describe her as loving and compassionate. She was modest when it came to attention, she never wanted anyone to make a “fuss” over her. She will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert; former husband John; her sisters, Roberta Doty, and Shirley Hart; step child Doug Dutcher.
Doris is survived by her sister Judith Creswick; step children, Katherine Heynes, Karen Chapman, Dale Dutcher and David Dutcher; grandchildren, Robert, Donny, Elena, Dale Jr.; nieces and nephews, Kerry, Erica, Robert, Kristy, Michelle, Rex, Rebecca, James, Juanita, Gary; great grandchildren; great nieces and nephews, Robert, Charles, Christina; very close friends, William “Willie” and Denise Border, and Shari Demato; and many other loved ones.
