Donna was born on June 9, 1929 to Vern and Faye Couch in Shenandoah, IA. Donna was the oldest of six children: Marian Kellenberger, Joyce Fradenburg, Jackie Robertson, Dick Couch and Gary Couch.
Donna worked as a professional seamstress for most of her life. She worked at Fashionbilt Garment Company as a pattern grader and part time model for fitting coats. When the company in Kansas City closed, she went to work for Isle Knit-Rite making body socks and stump shrinkers for people with artificial limbs.
She was a fiber artist most of her life and enjoyed making clothing, crocheting, and quilt making. She spent much of her retirement years making mittens and donating them to schools for children.
Donna leaves behind four children, Donald Myers Sr. and partner Shorey Fisher, Sharlan Raney and spouse Denny, Janet King and spouse Larry, and Chris Elkins and spouse David; ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five siblings, granddaughter Pamula Myers and husband Charlie Bean.
Graveside services will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd. Kansas City MO 64133 on March 16, at 10 a.m.
