Don Keefer

Don was born in Kansas City, Missouri, to James and Mary (Doherty) Keefer, on June 2, 1942. He graduated from Bishop Ward High School in Kansas City, Kansas, and was united in marriage to (Genevieve) Sue Beier on August 31st, 1963. Don worked for TWA/American Airlines for forty-five years and retired in 2005. He was a member of St. Therese Parish for over 35 years.

Don was preceded in death by his father, James Keefer, and mother, Mary (Doherty) Keefer. He is survived by his wife, (Genevieve) Sue Keefer, son, Andrew (Amy) and grandsons Drew (Kendra) and Patrick. He is also survived by three brothers: Dennis, Mike (Janet) and Kevin (Pat).

Visitation followed by the rosary will be on Saturday, September 9th, at 9:30 a.m., at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church, 4337 N. Cleveland Ave, Kansas City, Missouri. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30am, followed immediately by graveside services at Resurrection Cemetery, 5001 NE Cookingham Drive, Kansas City, Missouri.

The family requests no flowers. Memorial contributions can be made to Parkinson’s Foundation or St. Therese Catholic Church.
