Dennis David Payne

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 39 years, Marianne Sausville Payne. He is survived by his three children David Payne (Kristina), Dee Dee Tschirhart (Kevin), Debbie Hunt (Kerry), grandfather of six and great grandfather of two. He is also survived by one sister, Paula and two nieces as well as many friends. Dennis was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Tom and Ardele Payne.

He graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kansas in 1960. He worked for Harcros Chemical for 46 years which he took great pride in up to his retirement in January 2017. He loved the people he worked with and worked for.

He loved playing the game of golf, playing gin rummy and hunting.

There will be a Celebration of Life at Indian Hills Country Club in Mission Hills, Kansas from 2:00pm to 5:00pm Sunday, November 5, 2017.
