She was born in Paragould, AR to Marcus Wadley and Viola Haney. During her youth she was involved in the school band and cheerleading. She was also an integral part of her younger sister Carla's upbringing. After graduating from Berkeley High School in St. Louis, she grew into her career as a Commercial Supply Buyer.
Debi was a devoted mother who shared the passion of her sons' activities including Jason with competitive sports and Jared with playing musical instruments. She always expressed confidence in her sons' pursuits and instilled confidence in them likewise. She praised them at every opportunity as well as sharing prideful moments with her co-workers, family, and friends.
Debi was preceded in death by her sister Carla Irwin and is survived by her husband, Ray Jenkins, sons Jason (Erin) Brunk and Jared Brunk, step-daughters Kate (Vince) Carollo and Carrie (Andy) Peck, her grandchildren Abby (16), Nino (3) and Camilla (3), who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.
Debi grew very close to her husband's children and extended family. She developed a reputation as a master host of holiday parties, Chiefs games, and general get togethers. If you were happy, she was happy.
Some fun facts include earlier hobbies of tap dancing, knitting, stained glass, scrapbooking, and the lifelong collecting of Pez dispensers (3,000) and cookie jars (40) among other things.
