Daniel (Dan) Michael Warren, 49, of Leawood, KS, passed away December 31, 2021 at St. Luke’s Plaza in Kansas City, MO. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Church of the Nativity, 3800 W. 119th St., Leawood, KS 66209. The Rosary will be prayed at 5:30pm followed by the Visitation from 6-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, January 6 at 11:00 am at Church of the Nativity. Burial will follow immediately at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, 8300 Quivira Road, Lenexa, KS 66215.
Dan was born on February 22, 1972 in Kansas City, KS. He was married to Kari for 18 years. A graduate of Rockhurst University, he was a sales executive with Oracle, a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps and a licensed pilot. Dan played rugby for the Kansas City Rugby Football Club (KCRFC) and the KC Blues. He was a member of Blue Hills Country Club and Nativity Parish.
Dan was preceded in death by his mother Dr. Judy Warren, Gene and Diane Kane, Bob and Sally Barancik, Stacey Warren and Terry Tobin. Survivors include his wife Kari; son Matthew; daughter Annie; father Mike; brothers Jeff (Shelly), Patrick (Crystal); mother-in-law Mary Lou McLagan; many brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.
