Cynthia, “Cindy” to all who knew her, grew up in Raytown, the only child to Ronald L. Haggard and Geraldine E. (Walker) Haggard. Cindy graduated from Raytown South High School with the class of 1974. Cindy worked at Worlds of Fun the year it opened where she met several people who became her life long friends. Cindy attended college at CMSU in Warrensburg, Missouri. She graduated with an undergraduate degree and was a little sister to Sigma Pi Fraternity. Returning home to Raytown, Missouri she was employed as an assessor for Jackson County. Later, Cindy worked at EPI where she retired in 2003. Cindy never knew a stranger and created her family from her friends, who will forever remember her radiant smile. She will be missed by so many of her family of love.

A visitation for Cynthia will be held Friday, February 3, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Newcomer's Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 BLUE RIDGE BLVD, KANSAS CITY, MO 64133, followed by a funeral service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
