Christa A. White, 86, Kansas City, MO, passed away November 25, 2018 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City. Where do you start to talk about someone who was so extraordinary? Christa was born September 20, 1932 in Nahrschutz, Germany. “Oma” was an extremely thankful and kind woman. She enjoyed her flowers and all of the wildlife in her yard. Chatting with her neighbors was one of her favorite things to do. Oma will be missed on two continents, as she kep in touch with relatives in Germany.
She is survived by: daughter, Janet (Randy) Harry; son, Andy (Cathy) White; daughter, Celine (Jim) Eckert; five grandchildren, Jason, Kyle, Ian, Devin and Kristen; and one great granddaughter, Emma.
Special thanks to all the wonderful co-workers and friends from St. Joseph Medical Center where she worked for many years. Oma had a special place in her heart for all animals and was a supporter of Wayside Waifs. In lieu of flowers, we ask that contributions be made in Christa’s memory to the Wayside Waifs organization.
