Charles F. Trainer, III was born February 25, 1949 in East Liverpool, OH and passed away Thursday, October 31, 2019, in Olathe, KS at the age of 70. A memorial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Newcomer’s Floral Hills Funeral Home (7000 Blue Ridge Blvd.) in Kansas City, MO. Visitation will be one hour prior.
Charles graduated from Ruskin High School in 1968 and went to Northwest Missouri State University before enlisting in the U.S. Navy. Following his service in the Navy, he spent most of his career working as a land surveyor.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Charles F. Trainer, Jr. and Wanda B. (Pearce) Trainer, son-in-law, Matthew Warren, and step-grandson Christopher Fritz-Walker. He is survived by his children, Wendy (Greg) Nieman, Hollie Warren, and Sam (Taryn) Trainer, 8 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren,and sister, Carolyn Allen. Charles will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
