Charles Raymond Conrad, 94, Kansas City, MO passed away April 15, 2017. Visitation 12-1 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m., Friday, April 21 at Calvary Lutheran Church, 7500 Oak St., KCMO 64114. Interment in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
Charles was born in Kingsville Township, MO and graduated from Holden High School. He served in the United States Army Air Corps 1943-46. He retired from General Motors, Kansa City, Kansas in 1978.
Charles was a longtime and faithful member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Kansas City. He coached little league baseball and enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth; two sons, Mike and Dave (Heidi); two daughter-in-laws, Mary Beth Conrad and Jeanie Conrad; six grandchildren, Christen, Lori, Eric, Ryan, Rachel and Robin; and one great-granddaughter, Cora Lee.
