Catherine Theresa Meyers, formerly of Kansas City, MO passed away February 14, 2020 at Circle of Life Hospice at Legacy Village in Bentonville, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Monday, February 17, 2020 at McGilley State Line Chapel with a Rosary recitation at 6:45 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 AM Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Kansas City, MO. Burial at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Catherine’s honor may be made to Circle of Life Hospice at Legacy Village, 1201 NE Legacy Pkwy., Bentonville, AR 72712.
Catherine was born in Kansas City, MO and worked as a homemaker. She was married to her husband, Lawrence for 61 years until his passing. They had four children, Larry Pat, Sherry, Christine and Timothy. Catherine was a devout Catholic and enjoyed her life and family to the fullest! She was proud of her Irish heritage. Catherine enjoyed her later years at the Gardens of Osage Assisted Living where she enjoyed playing bingo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Catherine; sister, Margaret and Anne; brother, Hugh and her son Lawrence Patrick. Survivors include her sister, Geraldine Roberts (Rudy); daughters, Sherry (Steve), Christine (Mike); son, Tim; grandchildren, Maria, Kevin (Lisa), Scott (Molly), Angela (David), Megan, Mathew, Sean, Lauren; great grandchildren, Oliver, Theo, Emmett and Leighton.
