Caroline A. Harrington

Caroline Ann Harrington, 69, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at her home. A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, April 10th, 11:00 a.m., at St. Peter Catholic Church, 6415 Holmes, Kansas City, MO. Cremation. Visitation will be held Monday, April 9th, at McGilley State Line Chapel, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., where the Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Southern Care Hospice, 1240 NE Windsor Drive, Lee’s Summit, MO, 64086.

Carol was born April 18, 1942 in Omaha, Nebraska. She was a devoted Catholic, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She passed away after a courageous fight with cancer surrounded by her family. She was known for her sense of style and creativity. She will be forever missed and live on in our memories.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Betty (Karpf) Mittermeier. She is survived by her husband, Michael James Harrington; her children, Brenda Harrington, Cheri Harrington, Jim Harrington and wife Brenda; grandchildren, Jacob and Sarah Gutowski, Connor and Kelsey Harrington; great-grandchildren, Logan and Lilly Gutowski; sister, Linda Rangel and husband Richard; brothers, Mike Mittermeier, Mark Mittermeier and David Mittermeier.
