She was born May 29, 1946, the second of three daughters to Carl and Anna Jackson. Carol graduated from Southeast High School and earned her associates degree from Central Missouri State University.
While working at First National Bank in KCMO she met the love of her life, Bill. They married and resided in Leawood, Kansas. She was a wonderful, loving and caring Mother and Grandmother (Nana) to three children and seven grandchildren.
Carol was very involved in her children’s lives and family was the most important thing to her. She and Bill made many family trips with their children and enjoyed time at their lake house.
She worked for more than 30 years as an office administrator for an engineering consultant company, as well as her time with Hallmark and the Bank. Carol was very well liked wherever she was and had a way of making others’ days brighter. She had an amazing spirit that others longed to be around.
The most inspiring thing about Carol was her relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a member of Colonial Presbyterian Church for more than 50 years. She served through teaching and helping run the Sunday school program, helping in child care, Bible studies and many other committees. She loved the Lord and the way she lived her life was an inspiration and made an impact on so many.
After retiring, Carol spent her days enjoying her grandchildren, family, friends and Hallmark movies. She will be missed dearly by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Jackson and Anna (Deaver) Jackson and her husband William Fisher.
She is survived by her three children and their families: Andrew (Amy) Fisher and children Ashlynn and Caden; David (Nickie) Fisher and children Tristan, Iris and Frances and Kelly (Kyle) Case and children Tyler and Alex. Carol also is survived by other family members, including her sisters Martha and Barbara and their families.
