She was born in Kansas City, Missouri and was preceded in death by her father and mother Frank and Mary Palermo, her husband Max Berry, her daughter Mary Palazola and son Gregory Berry. She is survived by son Joseph Palazola, daughter Cathy Foster, son-in-law Tom Foster and grandson Kevin Foster.
Carol was a school secretary so she could be involved in her children’s daily activities. When that career ended she became secretary of St. James Church until she retired.
She loved her family and always put their needs before hers. She was an incredible daughter, wife, mother and friend. She had a smile that lit up a room. Everyone who met her couldn’t help but love her. There is a hole in our hearts that no one will ever be able to fill and we are beyond blessed to have had her for 86 years. Rest in eternal peace, mom. Until we meet again, be free and keep smiling. We Love You.
A Memorial Service for Carol will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer and Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO 64131.
