Carol was born December 30, 1928 to William and Ruth Carter. She attended Southwest High School where she was very active and made many lifelong friends. She enjoyed the yearly reunions as a committee member. While at Baker University she met and married Robert A. Anderson, and remained close to her Alpha Chi Omega sisters.
Her memberships included the Homesteader’s Class at Country Club Christian Church, Circle 12, Round Robin Study Club, Bridge Club and, Kansas City Young Matrons where she served as President 1961-62.
She leaves her daughter Debra Jean Whitney (Dexter), and beloved grandchildren Robert C. Whitney (Britt), Dallas, TX and, Emily Carol Whitney, Aurora, CO. In honor of her birthday a memorial service will be held December 30, at 1:00pm at Country Club Christian Church.
