Candace Ann Colorado, 66, died on June 25, 2018 at her home in Shawnee, KS. Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, June 28 at McGilley Midtown Chapel, 20 W. Linwood, KCMO, with Rosary at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at Guardian Angels Church, 1310 Westport Rd. Candace was born on April 19, 1952 in Mason City, IA. She was preceded in death by her mother, Isabel Ruiz, and brother, Thomas Ruiz. She is survived by her husband, Alfonso Colorado, Sr; sons, Michael Colorado and Alfonso Colorado, Jr. (Melissa); daughters, Dionna and Angela Colorado; granddaughters, Gabriella Lacey and Isalina Colorado; father, Candelario Ruiz; sister, Margaret Wheeler (Mark); brother, Felix Ruiz; and other extended family.
