Brenda Kay Clark

Brenda Clark, 62, died on Sunday, June 1st, 2014 at FirstHealth Hospice & Palliative Care in Pinehurst, North Carolina. She was born on May 15th, 1952 in Kansas City, Missouri, daughter of Anna Faye Russo and Clifford Jackson. She married LA Clark on July 6th, 1974 at Wamego Kansas. Together they traveled around the Midwest custom combining and later farmed in Eskridge, Kansas for 12 years, where Brenda worked in the Eskridge Nursing Home. After the sale of their farm, they moved to the Metro Kansas City area where she worked in collections for many years. In both jobs Brenda exhibited an extraordinary work ethic, capability, and compassion in dealings with people. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, and do-it-yourself projects. Brenda is survived by her daughter Amy, son Eric, brothers Dave and Bruce Jackson, and six grandchildren: Austin, Brittney, Christopher, Andrew, Lucas, and Jade. Brenda will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A visitation will be held on Monday, June 9, 2014 at 2:00pm followed by a Service at 3:00pm at Mount Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO 64131. All are welcome to attend.
