Bobby was born in Franklin, IN to Wilfred and Naoma (Provost) Bedwell on September 24, 1960. Bobby was the youngest of four children, Sandra (Dennis), Gerald (Deborah), and Pam.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred and Naoma Bedwell. He leaves behind his wife, Colleen (Gardner) Bedwell, his two children Christopher Birzer (Megan) and their daughter, Olive and Andrea Bedwell (Dave), and their children Christian and Aubrey.
Bobby served as Aircraft Maintenance Support in the United States Marine Corps from 1980-1988 and was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, M16 Rifle Expert Badge, M16 Marksman Badge, and M16 Sharpshooter Badge.
Later Bobby was employed at the Kansas City Post Office as a mail handler, and did mechanics part time. He also worked installing swimming pools.
He loved any activities outdoors: fishing, four wheeling, watching wildlife near their home and relaxing with his dog, Dottie. He was very grateful for the opportunity to go to Canada for a fly-in fishing experience with members of the Gardner family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Valor Ranch (valorranch.org) (816)769-9121; P O Box 114, Smithville, MO 64089
