Billy R Henslee

Bill Henslee, 68, Kansas City, MO, passed away September 2, 2010 at North Kansas City Hospital. Funeral services will be 1:00PM Wednesday, September 8th at the McGilley Antioch Chapel; burial in Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 PM Tuesday at the McGilley Antioch Chapel.

Bill was born November 26, 1941 in Potosí, MO to Curtis and Goldie Blair Henslee and was a 1959 graduate of Potosí High School. He was a longtime resident of Kansas City. Bill retired in 1996 from Consolidated Freightways following 30 years of service. He was a teamster and belonged to Local Union #41. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers Johnny Ray and Davey Henslee; and a step-son, Eddie Fields.

Survivors include his wife, Donna; 7 children, Mark Henslee, Laura Henslee, Phillip Henslee, Karen (David) Puckett, Sindy (Tom Gruver) Baker, Loretta (Andrew) Chiarelli, and Monica Henslee; 3 step-children, Ray Allen (Cindy) Fields, Donna Sue (Ron) Roberds and Willie (Brenda) Tierney; 2 former daughter-in-laws, Dana and Martha Henslee; a brother, J.R. Henslee; 21 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
