Billie June Robbins, age 94, formerly of Holden, Missouri, Rotunda West, Florida and Kansas City, Missouri passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021 at Foxwood Springs Care Center Raymore, Missouri.
Billie was born September 9, 1927 in Parsons, Kansas, the daughter of Elza Ray “Bill” Beasley and Nellie Love (Ward) Beasley. She was the youngest of their 3 daughters.
She graduated from Holden High School in 1945 and was a member of the First Baptist Church, Holden.
She married Glenn Daniel on April 2, 1946 and they had 3 children, Michael, Denna and Cindy. On January 26th, 1973 she married Robert G. Robbins in Miami, Oklahoma.
Billie was the office manager at department stores Chasnoffs and Stix, Baer & Fuller, and as an adjustment clerk at St. Joseph Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. She enjoyed cooking, boating, watching the Kansas City Royals and playing the organ; however, her biggest enjoyment was her family.
Mrs. Robbins is survived by her daughter, Denna Myers, Holden, MO, grandsons Michael Daniel and wife, Sherry, Pleasant Hill, MO and Scott Corwin, Port Charlotte, FL, great-grandsons Coleman and Chance Daniel and Stephen Michael Corwin. Great-granddaughters Sarah and Samantha Corwin and Elizabeth Spittler, five great-great-grandchildren and son-in-law George Fuller.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Robbins, parents Bill and Nellie Beasley, sisters Geraldine Ridenhour and Peggy Hancock, son Michael Daniel, daughter Cindy Fuller and grandson Stephen Corwin.
A visitation for Billie will be held Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 3:00 PM in Mount Moriah Cemetery South.
