Billie Rex Donner

Billie Rex Donner, 81, of Gladstone, MO, passed away February 28, 2016 at Northcare Hospice House after a battle with cancer. Visitation will be at 10am on Saturday, March 5th, at Good Shepherd UMC - Gladstone, 2800 NE 64th St., Gladstone, MO followed by a Memorial service at 11am.

Bill was born on February 9, 1935 in McFall, MO. He was a 1953 graduate of Pattonsburg High School. Bill enlisted in the US Air Force and served 4 years of active duty. He married Margaret E. Bishop on July 19, 1958, and moved to Gladstone in 1960. Bill retired from TWA in 1998 after 41 years of service. He was a founding member of Meadowbrook United Methodist Church. Bill deeply loved his family, volunteering his many talents to his church, gardening and helping everyone.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clark and Ruth Siddens Donner; and two brothers Robert E. Donner and Lawrence E. Donner. Survivors include his wife Margaret E. Donner; children, Jeff (Veda) Donner and Cindy (Steve) Finnell; 5 grandchildren, Justin Hill, Brandon (Ali) Hill, Jordan Donner, Brett Donner & Hollie Finnell; a great grandchild, Chad Finnell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
