Betty June (Stonner) Gray, 86, passed away January 3, 2017 at Kingswood where she had resided over the last year and a half. Betty was born February 9, 1930 to Mark and Mary (Sharp) Stonner in Camden, Mo.
Betty was a dutiful and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend. She was not just a great life partner to her surviving husband, Robert Luther Gray, but also a great business partner where she faithfully maintained the books of Bob Gray's Leawood Conoco and Bob Gray's Auto Repair for over 40 years.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, brothers F.D. and Robert Stonner, nephew Fred, and her beloved sons Stanley, Ty, John, and Paul.
She is survived by her husband Bob, sister Leona Love, son Joseph, his wife Misa, granddaughter Reina, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews three generations deep.
Visitation 10 am, with services at 11 am Monday, January 9, at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road with burial to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, 6901 Troost Avenue. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the Alzheimer's Association Heart of America Chapter, or Red Bridge United Methodist Church of which Betty was an original member.
