Arthur McGuire, 90, of Belton, MO passed away June 5, 2012. Visitation will be Sat 12:30PM at McGilley & Sheil Chapel, services at 2PM, with burial to follow at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Arthur was a jack of all trades & friend to all. He was founding member of Indian Mound Neighborhood, member of Forest Grove Baptist Church, Master Scout Leader, Lifetime member of American Legion, Played AAA baseball for Detroit Tigers, & Ordained lay minister. He was a Marine in WWII, Korea, & the CCC’s. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Virginia Bell McGuire; son, Arthur Dempsey Dement; & sister Alberta Lois Padilla. He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Mitchell; Stepchildren, Roberta McMillian, Kenny, Jerry, & Jeff Johnson, & Linda Minshell; grandchildren, Dylan Mitchell & Aaron Dement, 12 step grandchildren, & many great grandchildren.
