Alice L. Jones, 87, of KCMO passed away on January 9, 2015. She is preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Lillie Worthey; beloved husband, Johnny Jones; and brother, Harrell Worthey. She is survived by sister, Bettie Ray; 2 brothers, Chester Worthey and Steven Worthey; daughters, Patricia “Tricia” Jones and husband, George Pearl, and Candace “Candy” Hayes; stepdaughter, Amber Sullivan; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren; 3 nieces; and 4 nephews. Alice retired from the APHA after 26 years. Her hobbies were square dancing, gardening, and sewing. Her love and inspiration were her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Hospice facility of your choice or American Cancer Society. Visitation will be on January 14 at Floral Hills from 1-2pm and memorial service will at 2pm.
